My January 2021 Empties!

This is the first time I've ever had empties to share. Before I became a little addicted to having a real skincare routine, I would rarely finish up products and often they'd just end up in the bin because they expired before I got to use them up which is a real waste and shame! So, I'm excited to be writing this post because it means I'm using things up and being less wasteful which is always a great thing. 

And here are my January 2021 empties *drumroll*

I'm going to write a little about my thoughts on each product, how well they worked for me or if they didn't work. 

Firstly, Lush hair necessities! This is a hair conditioner and has recently been renamed to Power. My mum originally bought this and we both used it and it's fantastic. It works so well for my curls, it makes my hair shiny and soft and I have already repurchased it.

Next up, the body shop tea tree toner. I bought this when I was having my real acne flare up and I was trying various products aimed at blemished skin. This worked nicely, it wasn't amazing but I think it helped a little. I'm not sure if I will repurchase this again or not. We'll see.

Alba botanica acne dote, face and body scrub. This worked SO well. I will definitely repurchase this once I've used up my other facial scrubs. It has a really nice consistency and it definitely improved my skin during breakouts and my acne flare up. 

The body shop oils of life intensely revitalising gel cream. I bought the gel version of this over the usual thicker consistency cream because I thought it would be really nice and absorbing. Unfortunately I think this is a little too oily for my skin. It's an absolutely beautiful product, it smells wonderful and feels very luxurious but I don't think it works well for my combination skin type. Maybe it would work better as a night moisturiser but I won't be repurchasing this for now. 

Lastly, Lush beauty sleep face mask. Wow I love this! I am a big fan of face masks, they are really pampering and always feel like a real treat to use and self care is so important. I have already repurchased one of these, in the much bigger size! The scent is divine and the consistency is thick and moisturising. My skin feels smooth and moisturised afterwards and I think it's quite calming for breakouts too.

And that's it for my January empties! I'm excited to see what I will of used up in February.
